
Ladies, the world expects us to be super. Super Mom, Super Wife, Super Businesswoman, Super Healthy, Super EVERYTHING! That’s a lot of pressure for just one person to handle. With so many responsibilities how does one find time for themselves? Time management helps with prioritizing and organizing how you spend your time. You can get some tips from my time management blog here. After you set aside some time for yourself you can partake in some of the self-care activities. You can go and get pampered but that can get expensive, especially with inflation kicking our backsides. But don’t underestimate the power of at-home pampering. If at the end of the day you feel rested and beautiful then mission: accomplished.
I’ve listed 10 pampering activities you can do. Some have links to articles with instructions for your perfect at-home self-care enjoyment.

- Get a manicure.
Pretty nails always make me feel better. I’m sure it does for you too.

- Get a pedicure.
It’s nice to sit or lay in bed, look at your feet, and know they look good. I found a great guide for your fabulous feet here.
- Get a facial.

- Take a long shower.
Wash your hair, scrub your body, and shave. Take this simple good hygiene act and, girl, you will feel like a million bucks.
- Take a bath.

This can be a simple bubble bath, or you can make it a spa event. Grab some Epsom salts to help relax your muscles. Burn some incense or add some essential oils or potpourri to the bath water for some additional relaxing scents. Play some music of choice and light some candles. When my candles are not readily available, I use battery powered candles. Yeah, it is kind of cheating, but it still gives the right lighting for the relaxation mood. - Get a massage.

- Do your makeup and hair.
After the cleanliness regimen, do your makeup and hair. Being extra particular with it will end the routine on a high note when you look in the mirror.

- Indulge in a chick flick or stream a romance series.
Nothing helps you feel girly like something from the hallmark channel. Grab a box of chocolates or some other yummy food, plop on the couch or in your bed, a make sure your viewing pleasure is uninterrupted for the full tear-jerking experience.
- Get your favorite Starbucks drink.
You can either take a trip to said coffee shop or you can find a copycat recipe online and make it yourself. My personal favorites are the Chai Frappuccino and the Triple Mocha Frappuccino. Venti, of course.
- Take a nap.
Put on your most girly pajamas and climb into bed with your favorite plushie. There is a reason why its called beauty sleep.
Whatever makes you feel good do it. No one said you can’t or shouldn’t. At the end of the day, pampering yourself is about you and how super you are.
